As for me, I no longer have the card…. The controller is a Jmicron JMB I also used pcicfg in DOS to check the card was detected. Register df is used by the option ROM code at offset 0x Ezata can’t seem to hot swap an external SATA drive.
I can use the wizard to safely remove it, but reconnecting doesn’t do anything unless I reboot. Unfortunately, the file is quite different.
I’m using the latest BIOS on my motherboard, as well. I used the newest version of the option ROM 1. Option ROM not enabled by setting df, so the disks are not bootable.
